**Hiring a Upfit Service / Mechanic Technician - Journeyman, Red Seal or Related Upfitting experience is desired.**
Experience with truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes; or related equipment is desired.
+ Monday to Friday, 7am – 330pm, with overtime as needed.
+ Must have a valid driver’s license and mechanics tools.

**We’re seeking individuals with high mechanical aptitude or vocational training.**
+ 12-volt electrical wiring experience (trailers, wire harnesses, etc.).
+ Truck, Auto Mechanics shop related experienced (preferred but not required).
+ Knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, hydraulic systems, and welding.
+ A desire to learn and grow.
**Job Summary:**
As part of the Installation Production Team, you will be responsible for up fitting and customizing vehicles to CTOS specifications. This includes:
+ Installing and wiring electrical components for utility trucks, cranes, and related equipment.
+ Modifying and enhancing vehicles to meet industry-specific needs.
+ Perform electrical and lighting modifications (12V systems).
+ Work with electrical components such as switches, relays, fuses, and circuit breakers.
+ Wire electrical systems for various vehicles using schematics.
+ Build custom wiring harnesses and ensure proper splicing, crimping, and soldering.
+ Run wiring harnesses along truck frames and between drive axles.
+ Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Required Skills:**
+ High School Diploma, provincially approved High School Equivalency, or GED
+ Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician - Off Road and/or On Road is desired.
+ Ability to read and follow wiring schematics and written instructions.
+ Must hold a valid driver’s license.
+ Must have your own tools.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Work in a shop environment and outdoors.
+ Stand or walk on concrete and uneven surfaces for 8+ hours daily.
