Job Description:

Seeking an individual contributor to provide a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Position will require the following of assembly methods and operations in performing component installation, the application of adhesives, and riveting on electro-mechanical assembly units. Must be able to communication work status and issues to Supervisor in English.  Must be able to work from detailed instructions that are provided on computer.

Essential Functions:

Ability to read and understand description of manufacture operation assembly instructions for a computer.Ability to handle small parts with tweezers and/ or special toolsOperate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, air drivers / drills and various rivet guns) with proper training.Visually inspect components and subassemblies for obvious defects prior to, during, and after assembled. Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards Maintain assembly/ quality records paperwork as required. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environmentWorks as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasksAbility to work overtime as needed.Must be able to communication work status and issues to Supervisor in English. 

Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience or 2 years Post-secondary/Associate's Degree and 0-2 years of prior related experience. Ability to obtain Security Clearance if required.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.Mechanically inclined.Ability to perform light soldering.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $44,000 - $57,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
