**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Join a team that designs and manufactures conveyor systems to keep consumer packaged goods moving in ways that are faster, more reliable, and more efficient. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and subassemblies to create high-quality conveyor systems. **Responsibilities** + Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. + Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings. + Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies. + Verify specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections. + Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly experience. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to read and interpret a tape measure. + Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools. + Ability to retain information regarding standard assembly/disassembly procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in mechanical assembly or interpreting blueprints is preferred. + Ability to work 1st shift and occasional overtime as needed. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive starting wages, tuition reimbursement for both full-time and part-time employees, and opportunities for upward mobility and cross-training in different departments.
