**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** The Installation Technician is responsible for the up fitting of new vehicles into innovative solutions for a wide range of markets, focusing on high-quality workmanship. This role has the potential to positively impact our business growth. We are looking for someone who is quality-driven, customer-focused, and can meet the demands of a busy shop. If you are detail-oriented, motivated, ambitious, and a team player, this job is for you! **Responsibilities** + Work involves frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling. + Assemble truck bodies, route and install wire harnesses, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, ladder racks, shelving, wall liners, and floors. + Disassemble and reassemble factory vehicles. + Uphold quality levels that the company and customers require. + Record and maintain accurate records, find efficiencies while respecting quality, and contribute ideas to the company. + Record project times with expected levels of accuracy using pictures and/or project-specific information for standard work creation. **Essential Skills** + 1 year Automotive Technician experience + Autobody experience + Experience working with automotive mechanical systems + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds + Ability to work with frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling + Some overtime may be required **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with automotive electrical systems + Ability to read drawings, including electrical schematics, layout drawings, and work orders with limited help + 1 year Aftermarket add-on/Upfitting experience **Why Work Here?** We offer a casual but supportive work environment with competitive compensation and benefits. The facility has long driveways/alleys with vans parked back to back with the back doors open for installations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rosemount, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
