**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (1st Shift, Direct Hire)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for a 1st Shift, Direct Hire position. The ideal candidate will fabricate and mechanically assemble metal products using specified prints. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate and mechanically assemble metal products using blueprints and written instructions. + Assemble and fabricate using hand and power tools. + Use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures for precise measurements. + Visually inspect products for dents and scratches. + Pack finished products for shipping. **Essential Skills** + Experience working from blueprints or other written instructions/drawings. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. + Mechanical assembly or fabrication experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General labor and production experience. + Attention to detail in visual inspections. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers incentive bonuses, good PTO and benefits plans, and significant growth opportunities. **Work Environment** The work environment is a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility. PPE including steel-toe shoes (required from the first day), eye protection, and ear protection will be provided. Dress code includes pants/jeans (no capris), short-sleeved shirts (no tank tops or sleeveless shirts), and long hair must be tied back. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
