Mechanical Assembler II

About the role:

As a full-time Mechanical Assembler, you will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and be located at the Westinghouse Shoreview, MN facility. Your daily tasks will include mechanical assembly related to drawings, drilling and tapping holes, drilling hardware, learn machining skills, operating overhead cranes and operating forklifts.

You will report to the Operations Manager and be located at Shoreview, MN. You will be 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Small assembly builds

Large assembly builds

Crane Certification after hire

machine shop work

equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

2+ years of experience

Meet all level I requirements

Perform assembly activities without guidance

Use overhead cranes

Operate forklifts

Operate a lathe

Perform surface grinding, drill and tap holes

Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gages

Use Measuring instruments

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly pay range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $23.40 to $27.89 per hour.
