Position Details: Location: Rochester, NY Hours : 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri (some overtime possible) Pay: $17-19/hr, depending on experience Duration: One year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire . Who We're Looking For: Candidates with the ability to build noncomplex optical / electrical / mechanical sub-assemblies within quality requirements. This person should be reliable and detail oriented. What to Expect as a Mechanical Assembler: + Follow standard work processes as provided + Assemble pre-fabricated parts / pieces from a stocked work cart + Accurately record data + Provide input or feedback during team discussions + Engage with team members and work effectively with others + Comply with all company policies & regulations Qualifications for Success: + HS Diploma or GED/HSE or 1+ years of Manufacturing/Assembly experience + Electrical or Mechanical Assembly experience preferred + Familiarity with small hand tools + Decision making and problem-solving skills + Be organized and have excellent attention to detail + Knowledge of safety, lean manufacturing and process improvement is helpful + Basic computer skills Datrose is an equal opportunity employer.
