**Job Title: Mechanical Assembly** **Job Description** - This is closer to a construction type position than it is assembly. - Virtually constructing steel buildings. - Building and assembling large 40 foot tall structural steel housing units. - Safely working in a small team of 3-6 people. - Assemble metal wall panels to a metal frame. - Cut and install insulation to the wall panels. - Install metal sheets to wall panels. - Install metal doors and other sub-components to the structure. - Using tape measures and squares to ensure assembly is done correctly. - Utilizing prints, drawings, and work instructions to build structures. - Will be working on step stools and some ladders. - Will be working on feet for majority of the day. - Utilizing overhead cranes and JIBB cranes to move large pieces of steel. - Lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively. - Will be utilizing some computers. - Hold measurements to a specific tolerance. - Complete assemblies within goal hours. - Keep work area clean. - Assist with training of new employees. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
