Job OverviewWe are recruiting a position for Mechanical Assembly to support our motorl assembly of mining products at our Longview, Texas site. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Assembles electrical/mechanical/hydraulic components by using templates or reading measurements, examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Assignments are routine in nature with close supervision and work primarily involves assisting more experienced employees Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms Qualifications/RequirementsMust be able to work 2nd shift
Basic math skills.
Able to read a tape measure.
Basic understanding of hand tools and how to use the right tool for the right job in a safe manner.
Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of this position. Assignments are routine
in nature with close supervision and work primarily involves assisting more experienced employees.
Able to know what PPE is required to do the job. Has moderate blue‐print reading skills.
Able to work in a team environment.
Cleans and maintains equipment, tooling and area. Attend New Hire Orientation
Must pass urine drug screen, background check and physical.
