Essential Responsibilities:
Provide Technical Leadership of a small group of Engineers and Contractors in activities related to analyses, calculations and technical evaluations required for timely resolution of design and implementation issuesManage project work schedules and prioritiesMentor and provide technical leadership in area of expertise to other engineers and projectsWork within a team environment to execute work plans within budget and scheduleSupport mechanical BOP systems design and/or equipment construction activities, respond to vendor questions and deviation requests; review and approve vendor document submittalsSupport the BWRX-300 certification processes for GE Products to address all US NRC (or other nuclear regulator) design certification requirementsEstablish and maintain technical oversight of the applicable regulations (e.g.; US, other national, or global region)Have other duties as assigned by ManagerInterface with internal and external customers, suppliers, partners, licensing, the NRC and international regulatory authorities on technical issuesIncorporate design requirements into analyses and design documentsManage the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned systems using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirementsDocument technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and proceduresProvide timely communications on significant issues or developmentsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or University;Minimum 8 years of experience in a technology or engineering role.Eligibility Requirements:
The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.Desired Qualifications:

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 2/18/2025.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
