HDR currently has an opening for a Mechanical/Civil EIT/Designer with the technical skills and desire to help support our nationally recognized Resources Business Group. This position will be based out of our Charleston, SC office and offers the opportunity to work closely with regional energy clients.

Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specificationsPerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and proceduresComplete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variablesWork independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsGive direction to clerical and technical personnel as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of Designer and will be expected to obtain their EIT certificate for career progression.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; MSCE or MSME preferredRecent graduates will be consideredExperienced in pipeline design is a plusProficiency in MS Office and AutoCADCommercial/institutional experience in healthcare a plusPreference given to local candidates#LI-HO1
