Aeroderivative engineering team executes designs on a full portfolio of new product introduction (NPI), reliability & maintainability (RAM), product cost out initiatives (PCO), customized requisitions, and services and customer support. Projects include design of all mechanical components and system integration of aeroderivative packages like fuel system design, auxiliary skids, synthetic and mineral lube oil system design, enclosures, piping, and all other necessary process systems that support the operation of the aeroderivative gas turbine. Mechanical system-level and detailed component design may span all Aeroderivative equipment including design and structural interpretation of heavy structures, piping, inlets, exhausts, enclosures, bases, building/foundations, and plant layouts.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide key technical direction of the mechanical system design and integration of the Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Package Product LineIdentify, develop, evaluate, introduce, and support design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for Aero products.Execute design improvements to meet customer requirements.Generate proposals to meet short term and long term needs.Contribute to reduce Cost of Quality exposure and improve quality processes.Capable of evaluating fit configurations options per customer requirements. Support internal and external customers, as well as suppliers, as required. Recognize opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.Be up to date and be a leader in own technical specialty in order to anticipate, apply, adapt, or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution. Knowledgeable of best practices and how own area integrates with others.Be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketAble to manage design schedules for projects/programs with milestones and work task assignments in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Engineering Technology from an accredited college and university.Must have 0-3 years of experience in Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Unigraphics.Proficiency in English.Travel availability.Legal right to work in the hiring location.Desired Characteristics

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
