Our client, a premier Data Centre delivery partner, renowned for providing comprehensive and innovative solutions, is in need of experienced Mechanical Construction Managers. As Mechanical Construction Managers you will oversee the mechanical aspects of data centre projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within the budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:  

Generate detailed project plans for mechanical construction activities, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.  

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical construction activities with overall project plans.  

Manage resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution within budget constraints.  

Oversee mechanical construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.  

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts and address issues to prevent or eliminate any impact on project development.  

Review and verify that all mechanical installations meet project specifications and industry standards.  

Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality.  

Ensure all project activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations, codes, and standards including obtaining necessary permits and certifications for mechanical projects. 

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and test reports.  

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications. 

Proven years of experience in mechanical construction management within Data Centre projects. 

Proven record of accomplishments of successfully managing mechanical construction projects from design to completion.  

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.  

Proficiency in project management software and tools.  

Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
