Job Description Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Superintendent for one of our top clients in Sparks, NV. This person will be reporting to their Senior Construction Manager to support the SEMI expansion project which is the build of a semi-manufacturing facility. They will be overseeing the coordination and execution of building projects from conception to completion and ensure that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are being met. Job Responsibilities: - Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including direct hire and subcontractors - Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel and Project Manager. - Drive the project schedule and elevate construction issues to management - Coordinate installation and start-up with equipment vendors and facilities teams - Ensure a high level of quality and safety is maintained during field execution - Continual Process Improvement evaluation of field work to continue to increase efficiencies. Skills and Requirements - 10-15+ years of experience within the construction industry o Prior experience as a Superintendent on large scale industrial or commercial facility construction projects o Experience supervising mechanical and piping scopes including detailed planning through Commission and Start-up o Must understand how to read and interpret a 3 week look ahead schedule o Recent experience in the field, hand in hand working with the crews - OSHA 30 certification Compensation: $50/hr to $80/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
