Category: Kalmar Facility: Engineering Location: Stargard, PL Mechanical design engineer Purpose of the position Design of components and systems for the dedicated Straddle Carrier product group of the Horizontal Transportation division. Providing appropriate design solutions to meet all relevant technical and safety standard requirements Main tasks and responsibilities Technical support + Technical support to other departments regarding execution and assembly documentation + Participation in the design review process to provide area-specific expertise Product development/product groups + Design and selection of components, structures and systems for new orders - Customer Engineering(CE) + Design of product cost saving solutions (Engineering cost saving) + Design and modification of components during the product life cycle according to the ECR and EO process - Product Care (PC) Competence management + Building up a knowledge base in a subordinate area + Management of available knowledge inside and outside the MAU + Building and maintaining dedicated competences at the required level What you’ll need to succeed Education: + Technical university degree Mechanical/Electrical or related faculty Experience: + 3 years' experience as a product engineer or machine and plant designer Skills: + Knowledge of CAD software + Communicative knowledge of English + Knowledge of hydraulic systems, ability to read technical drawings + Computer skills (office suite) + Ability to cooperate in a team Personal qualities: + Communicativeness + Creativity + Organisational skills + Ability to work in a team and customer-oriented + Aspiration for continuous development within the business Interested to join?
