Join Our Team as a Reverse Engineering and New Product Development Engineer!

Location: ul. S.J. Rolbieskiego 4, Bydgoszcz, onsite

Who will you be working with? This is a new role within Melett Poland where you will conduct reverse engineering and New Product Development of aftermarket turbochargers and their component parts for the wider Melett group. You will report to the Senior Development Engineer and work in collaboration with the UK Engineering team, directly responsible for the design development of new products.

How will you make a difference? In this diverse role, you will:Conduct reverse engineering and New Product Development of aftermarket turbochargers and their components.Collaborate with the UK Engineering team to develop new product designs.Shape your working environment and contribute to the growth of the company.

General Tasks:

Complete New Product Development projects as allocated by the UK project manager.Manage multiple development projects simultaneously.Ensure all designs, drawings, specifications, and documentation are produced timely and meet quality standards.Plan and execute product testing to complete design verification and product validation.Provide engineering support for Poland sales and technical teams.Follow company processes and procedures.

What do we want to know about you?Qualified to degree level in an associated engineering discipline or extensive experience in Engineering NPD within the automotive industry.Background in engineering design and product development.Experience in New Product Development, including design, verification, and validation.Experience in designing precision assemblies.Knowledge of precision measurement and general engineering principles.Commercial awareness and passion for product development/R&D.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Excellent hands-on experience with 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks.Hands-on experience in product design and development.Background in the automotive engineering industry.

What will your typical day look like?Design Development: Work on the design development of new products.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the UK Engineering team.Reverse Engineering: Cover all aspects of the reverse engineering process.
