Seeking an Automotive Design Engineer to join our Team. A Successful Candidate will have experience in Machine design utilizing Cad Software on manufacturing projects.

Description

•\tDesign of production machines- creation of assembly drawings, fabricated parts drawings, and specification of purchased components.

•\tDeveloping cost estimation and quotation documents for assigned projects

•\tWork with electrical engineer to develop controls concept for the machine

•\tLead design reviews on assigned machines with customers and division management

•\tDevelop countermeasures to mechanical problems that occur during machine construction

•\tUpdate final drawing package and create operation manual for the completed machine

•\tOn-site machine modification investigation support

3D Machine design experience is a mustThey use Inventor, but Solidworks is fine—if you talk to candidates ask what design software they useProduction experience helpsVision systems or gaugingRobot design is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
