Job Title: Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product commercialization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing vacuum deposition or etch systems and a proven record of developing designs from concept to product launch. Responsibilities + Design vacuum deposition or etch systems, with a preference for experience in PVD sources. + Develop designs from concept to product commercialization. + Utilize SolidWorks for design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). + Apply thermal modeling and work with the SolidWorks Simulation package. + Incorporate pneumatics, drive systems, motion and control systems, heat transfer, and fixturing in designs. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher. + 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering. + Proficiency in SolidWorks. + Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA). + Proven record of developing designs from concept to product commercialization. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in designing vacuum deposition or etch systems. + Experience with PVD sources. + Experience with the SolidWorks Simulation package. + Experience with pneumatics, drive systems, motion and control systems, heat transfer, and fixturing.
