Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product commercialization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing vacuum deposition or etch systems and a proven record of developing designs from concept to product launch.

ResponsibilitiesDesign vacuum deposition or etch systems, with a preference for experience in PVD sources.Develop designs from concept to product commercialization.Utilize SolidWorks for design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).Apply thermal modeling and work with the SolidWorks Simulation package.Incorporate pneumatics, drive systems, motion and control systems, heat transfer, and fixturing in designs.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.Proficiency in SolidWorks.Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).Proven record of developing designs from concept to product commercialization.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in designing vacuum deposition or etch systems.Experience with PVD sources.Experience with the SolidWorks Simulation package.Experience with pneumatics, drive systems, motion and control systems, heat transfer, and fixturing.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $45.00/hr.
