Mechanical Design Tech
Work individually, with a local team or global engineering team on product design validation execution which satisfy customer specifications. Maintain laboratory related documentation and execute maintenance/calibration of equipment to support the testing team needs.

Perform engineering tests such as Design and Process Validation, Performed Failure Analysis for Automotive Sensors.
Managed the daily activity in an Environmental Laboratory.
Responsible on relocation of a Laboratory from new acquisition, and succesfully integrate the process to support new products.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Support NPD Design projectsConducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.  Directs support personnel conceptual design, detail design and prototypingDevelopment testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, production launchResolves problems of limited scope through the use of engineering fundamentals. Complete Failure Analysis investigations and engineering evaluations Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons learnedProficient understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, mechanics, fluid, thermo and heat transferKnowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly, statistical methods, process control fundamentals and product test processesStrong presentation skills - Ability to clearly present design concepts to customers, managers and peers verbally and using formal presentationsDesirable use of CAD/3D tools such as SolidworksStrong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with superiors, peers, suppliers and customersAble to meet tight deadlines and work to targetsClient focus – understanding and meeting clients’ needs.Problem solving and judgment – ability to assess options and implications in order to identify a solution.Ability to offer innovative solutions – adapting to change, leading the change processClearly communicate with engineering teams and customers

Education Requirements: TSU Level Degree in Engineering or upper
