Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Designer to design welding and assembly positioners, jigs, and fixtures.

Job Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Knowledge of Creo software (Creoy5.0 or newer preferred)

2-3 years of Mechanical Design experience

Preferred Skills:

Experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical design

General design and development experience with sheet metal and tooling

Job Responsibilities:

Design welding and assembly positioners along with related jigs and fixtures

Study specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data

Resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost

Draw preliminary sketches and prepare layout and detail drawings

 

 

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
