Your Capabilities and Credentials

Understanding of drafting/design tool such as AutoCAD and Revit. Understanding of Microsoft Office Basic understanding of Trace 700, Trace 3D, or HAP for heating load calculations. Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought. Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others. Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material. Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from senior engineers/designers. 

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience. Co-op/Internship experience preferred. 

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Additional Information Salary Range(s): Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO, HI, MD and IL Min Pay Range: $72,400 Max Pay Range: $101,300 Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
