This Principal engineer develops and applies advanced mechanical engineering design methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems. The person in this position may also provide work leadership for lower level employees.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Plan, conduct, technically direct and evaluate projects or major phases of significant projects.Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex technical problems.Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity.Review literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.Recommend corrections in technical applications and analyses.Provide technical consultation to other organizations.Coordinate the efforts of engineers and technical support staff.

QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. A master's degree preferred. Requires at least 10 years related HVAC experience.Expert understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Experience with analytical and CAD software. Requires expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
