As a Senior Mechanical Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have an opportunity to do the following:

Support government programs and build your mechanical engineering experience Develop a variety of mechanical design skills including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and solid modeling. Use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to develop armament designs Produce models, drawings and design documents using PT-CREO Create test plans and inspect drawings Communicate with vendors and test ranges to ensure design and test intent is met. Travel to witness and oversee armament testing. Represent our organization at project team meetings. Reduce test data and tabulate results into quick reference documents. Create reports that document the outcomes of test events and summarize programs to management.
