As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.
Responsibilities Execute capital projects including:Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for new equipment.Plan, budget, schedule, and execute projects in a timely manner.Justify project by benefits to achieve approval of fundsCollaborate with vendors, contractors, operations, and other engineers to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.Manage resources to complete project installation and startupMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and progress reports.Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.Provide training as needed to maintenance & operationsIdentify and lead Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to:Improve safetyReduce cost by improving productivity and reducing wasteImprove product quality and resolve reoccurring quality complaintsImprove equipment reliabilityAssume a leadership role providing technical expertise to handle the most challenging problemsAssist production and maintenance in solving difficult technical problemsSupport Quality in the root cause analysis of complaintsSupport manufacturing improvements through project management and engineering expertiseGenerate ideas and solutions to specific problems and plant improvement opportunitiesInvestigate new processes, equipment, and methods to provide competitive advantagesContinually develop and improve process knowledge and continuous improvement skillsQualifications Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical required)5-7 years experience in Mechanical Engineering field preferred.3-5 years experience of managing major CAPEX projects.Proficient AutoCAD skills are required.Project management skills are strongly considered.Proven ability to lead $MM projects.Strong leadership, people, and communications skills.Strong technical problem-solving skills.Strong Computer literacy is preferred.Experience and understanding of process systems, metrics, Continuous Improvement Projects and SPC Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
