Mechanical Engineer

TOP Full Service Building Design Firm, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in NYC! This is an excellent opportunity for growth, as well as the opportunity to support some of the most complex projects in the country!

Job Description:

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited University requiredProficient in Designing HVAC systems and knowledge of Plumbing/Fire Protection equipment Experience with technically complex project typesAbility to assume responsibility, effectively and cohesively interface and communicate with clients, architects, and other trades.Present design options to the rest of the team, architects, a nd clients for evaluation.Productively work and manage within a team environment on multiple design and construction projectsDetail oriented - able to effectively manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedulesStrong understanding of all A/E disciplines and project coordinationField experience (understanding of construction principles, methods. and best practices)Proficient in: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Prolog, etc.AutoCAD MEP 3D, Navisworks, and Revit MEP to prepare construction documents and sketches in 3D environment a plus

Qualifications:

Data Center/commercial experience Mission Critical experience is preferred. Commissioning (Cx) experience a plusLEED Certification and Green Building initiatives preferredLicensed P.E or EIT with test for PE Scheduled

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $50.00/hr.
