Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical / Quality Engineer Education and Experience · Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills · Prior experience working with 3-D modeling (Solid Works / NX) · Prior stamping die design, a plus but not needed · On the job mentoring for design method will be available · PPAP and Quality background a plus Job Description · Work with Plant Manager, Designer, and toolroom on tooling for new products · Work with toolroom on repairs, changes, and tooling improvements · Collaborate with customer and plant personnel on development of new products and prototype tooling · Design gages and other items needed to produce parts in tolerance for our customers · Ability to create prints with an understanding of GD&T · Order materials needed for tool builds, prototypes, and tooling repairs · Understand UL standards related to electrical components a plus but not required · Manage quality of production in the plant along with customer concerns · Complete PPAP requirements for new products · Effective communication skills · Familiarity with MS Office suite · Good organizational Skills · Ability to multiple tasks · Other duties assigned by upper management to assist with progress for the company If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
