Job Description:
Scope and Function:
Support and/or complete medium to high level, complex engineering tasks/projects as assigned to meet business objectives and support product lines for the food service industry.
One or more of the following as required by the Business Unit:
Conceive, plan, develop, & coordinate projects as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross-functional team.Create and develop engineering project documentation, i.e. bill of materials, drawings, and specifications.Develop prototypes and test plans; validate as required.Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve engineering project issues.Participate in or conduct design reviews and provide feedback, using the appropriate tools i.e. FMEA, field and lab testingResearch and provide the required product information to support sales, service, and marketing to satisfy customer needsDefine and execute VAVE projects as assignedApply advanced engineering theory and practices, along with experience, to complex designsCoordinate engineering activities with other departments including change plans, engineering changes, performance/agency testing and trial runs.Support assembly and manufacturing operation. Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance to resolve production issuesSkills/Ability

Travel less than 25% of the timeHands on testing and/or troubleshootingAbility Lifting up to 50 lbs.Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – BSME Preferred (ABET accredited College/University) 3-5 years of mechanical engineering competency in a manufacturing environment
Autodesk Inventor experience a plus but not requiredElectrical wiring and design a plus but not required.Food equipment experience preferredCompensation Information:
$75,000-$85,000
