Our client, one of the largest petrochemical companies in the world, are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work with them on a contract basis, OUTSIDE OF IR-35. 

Role Overview: Provide Mechanical Engineering expertise to ensure regulatory compliance, asset safety, reliability, and efficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining asset integrity, leading mechanical maintenance, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and maintain critical assets and protective systems. Develop and execute maintenance schedules and improvement plans. Manage CAPEX and maintenance budgets. Provide technical support for mechanical work and ensure safety compliance. Lead and motivate mechanical maintenance teams.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proven industrial experience in the petrochemical or equivalent manufacturing sector. In-depth knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices and COMAH top tier chemical plant management. Strong planning, budgetary management, and leadership skills.
