Development of machines and assemblies for X-ray computed tomographyconcept development, also for fast moving partsSelection of suitable mechanical purchased parts (Motors, linear sliders, Transmission mechanism)mechanical designregular exchange with suppliers and the teams of the other departmentsAssembly and testing of prototypes, Serial launch supportGeneration of 3D models, drawings and parts listsPerforming technical calculations and analyzes (e.g. tolerances, strength), identifying and evaluating risks and developing proposed solutions to avoid themRelevant experience in a cross-site international team is a plus

Your profile

Minimal of 8 years experience in mechanical design.Experienced handling of CAD systems (preferably Creo)Experience in the development and design of complex mechatronic systems, especially with fast moving parts by automated motor control and multi-axis movements.Knowledge of transferring prototypes to series production is an advantageSAP knowledge is an advantageindependent and result-oriented way of workingEnjoy dealing with complex tasks, working in interdisciplinary teams in a highly dynamic environment, as well as high motivation, initiative and teamworkgood knowledge of English

Work in ZEISS X-ray R&D center in China, under R&D manager. The position will be responsible for mechanical system development in the field of x-Ray CT.
