The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support facility upgrades and maintenance-related Engineering efforts at Naval Surface Warfare Center – Carderock Division (NSWCCD). This position is in Bethesda, MD and is 100% on-site with option to telework.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of specialized upgrades to address customized facility and/or testing needs.
Develop, create, and review engineering plans.
Develop cost estimates and proposals for facility upgrades based on customer goals/specifications.
Review existing facilities/sites.
Work with engineers from other disciplines to create comprehensive upgrade plans (HVAC, electrical wiring, piping, etc).
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for installation of facility improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related experience in construction or facilities engineering environments.
Facilities engineering.
Project management skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and experience with MS Office suite of products.
Eager to learn, self-starter.
5 years of experience as a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineer.
Desired:
Active Secret Clearance.
Master’s degree in engineering.
Experience working on a DoD site.
Experience in construction.
Experience with NAVFAC.
Experience with United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
10+ years of experience as a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineer.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
