Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree with 2-5 years of experience, though new graduates with significant hands-on experience in school projects are also encouraged to apply. This role requires a Mechanical Engineer with programming experience or a Computer Engineer with hardware experience.

ResponsibilitiesProgramming, hardware selection, and integrationMicrocontroller programming (TI, Arduino, etc.)PCB layout using a PCB design tool (we use Altium)Sensor and actuator selection, verification, and integrationDevelopment and testing of an ultrasound-based underwater proximity and water immersion detection systemHardware and firmware development for physiological monitoring via various sensors (impedance, ECG, etc.)Essential SkillsBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field2-5 years of experience in hardware engineering (new graduates with significant experience in school projects are welcome)Experience with microcontroller programming (TI, Arduino, etc.)Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium preferred)Experience with sensor and actuator selection, verification, and integrationAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hardware design and R&D testingProficiency in MATLABStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsAbility to work on and bid for projects of interestPassion for research and innovationWork Environment

You will be working in a Contract Research Organization focused primarily on contract work, supporting the Biotech group. The environment consists of both office and lab spaces, providing a highly technical and multidisciplinary setting.
