Job Description SummaryResponsible to design electromechanical system focused on lateral, torsional, and axial rotor dynamics and its subcomponents. The position requires capability to define and detail the solution, its understanding, application of regulations, standards, customer specifications, testing definition, product validations, and technical definitions for commissioning.Job DescriptionIdentify the functional requirements for the system, subsystems, and components.Define how to integrate each subsystem.Understand customer’s needs to define the products requirements.Collaborate on project technical definitions, risk management plan, project planning and technical reviews.Act as a subject specialist for new functions and definitions with a cross-functional team.Understand customer limitations and provide alternative solutions.Understand the applicable standards.Understand and leverage technical and manufacturing capabilities.Write technical specifications for system, subsystems, and components.Work with suppliers to define, detail, and approve solutions. Like coupling, bearings, oil and cooling systems.Perform technical reviews.Elaborate test plans based on technical requirements for in process needs and for customer acceptance.Evaluate test data and provide technical solution when applicable.Prepare field documentation that are key for system performance to be applied during commissioning.

Quality: Follow GEV Quality Management System (QMS), follow the procedures and processes in line with ISO 9001 Certification.
