JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• Prepare drawing sets and related documents for the construction of mechanical systems for buildings. 
• Perform specific calculations and analysis under the direction of Sr. staff. 
• Evaluate proposed building systems and suggest value engineering changes that result in less expensive systems with acceptable performance.
• Determine and document the most cost-effective duct and piping routing for drawing sets for buildings.
• Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to recommend remedies.
• Prepare and/or review mechanical engineering design drawings. 
• Review and/or create shop drawing submittals. 
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with verbally and via email.
• Utilize AutoCAD tools to perform the above work.RELATED OCCUPATION: 

Design Assist mechanical Engineer or any other job title performing all listed job duties.  

JOB TIME: Full Time

SALARY RANGE: $114,525 to $130,000/year

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4 years of experience in job offered or 4 years of experience in Related Occupation.
