Job Summary:

Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for analyzing and managing Head Up Guidance Systems cast aluminum chassis components in a regulated avionics environment.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent STEM degree considered with applicable experience. 6+ years of engineering design experience. Advanced skills in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with proficiency in ASME Y14.5. Experience with tightly toleranced investment castings. Experience working in a quality-controlled environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Analyze complex cast aluminum parts in a regulated avionics environment to assess the impact of vendor non-conformances. Review aluminum castings measurement data, comparing it against models and drawing requirements. Determine impacts on the Form, Fit, or Function of the parts. Work within regulated avionics quality and configuration management standards. Implement design and drawing updates as needed. Review and assess vendor changes associated with design updates.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $67.00 per hour
