We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team.

In the role of Mechanical Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Be responsible for the design of complex projects from conception through to the construction completion. Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule.Assess and understand project requirements. Attend in project planning and project management meetings and provide improvement recommendations to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance, Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines.Write and edit mechanical specifications. Review project documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Mechanical Project Engineers, Mechanical Project Coordinators, or Mechanical CAD/BIM Technicians as needed.Reviews and applies knowledge of relevant building codes and standardsPerform other duties as required.Preferred QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical system design of medium to large scale projects.Healthcare, Science and Technology and/or Transit facilities experienceWorking knowledge of Revit BIM and IES VEExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED is desiredRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Previous experience in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience in commercial or institutional facilities Computer experience using MS Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, manufacturer selection software Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
