Who will you be working with?

The site in Kąty Wrocławskie is dedicated to the production of pantograph for rail and commercial use. In this role you will report hierarchically to the Senior Industrial Manager.

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technology Transfer Engineer to manage the transfer of existing welding and machining technologies from an established plant. The role involves coordinating the smooth integration and adaptation of existing processes and technologies, addressing gaps in documentation, resolving technological ambiguities, and ensuring that operations run efficiently.

What will your typical day look like?

Technology Transfer Management:

Coordinate the transfer of existing welding and machining technologies from an established facility to new or updated production lines.Address gaps in documentation, clarifying unclear or outdated technical specifications and process instructions.Work with engineering teams, operations, and quality departments to ensure technologies are successfully adapted and optimized for current production needs.

Cross-Functional Team Coordination:

Facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, including production, engineering, quality control, and maintenance, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines.Coordinate tasks and resources, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities in the transfer process.

Process Troubleshooting and Optimization:

Analyze existing welding and machining processes, identifying areas where improvements can be made.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve any technological issues, inefficiencies, or ambiguities in the existing processes.

Project Management:

Manage technology transfer projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Track progress, report on key milestones, and address any delays or challenges that may arise during the transfer process.

What do we want to know about you?

Education:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

At least 3-5 years of experience in technology transfer, process engineering, or production management, with a focus on welding and machining.Strong experience in working with existing technologies in industrial settings, particularly when dealing with gaps in documentation or ambiguous processes.Experince in coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.

Skills:

Excellent coordination and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and ensure deadlines are met.Knowledge of Polish and English requiredExperience with process documentation and standardization, particularly in environments with outdated or incomplete records.Proficiency in CAD software, process modeling tools, and other engineering software is a plus.
