Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description The mechanical engineer will be focused on leading engineering studies and analyses for building mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, sanitary sewer, and fire protection within industrial projects. Responsibilities + Develop design and submittal documents for plumbing and sanitary sewer systems. + Demonstrate knowledge of plumbing systems design and installation codes. + Prepare drawings and designs for fire protection systems, fire water storage, and pumping systems. + Meet with clients for preliminary planning and identification of design concepts and limits. + Complete project scopes, construction estimates, and engineering time estimates. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. + Professional Engineer registration. + 5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection design within an industrial environment. + Knowledge of mechanical standards and codes used for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
