Description

Actalent is currently hiring an Mechanical Engineer/Designer for an MEP consulting firm in Columbus, OH. This is a Direct Hire full-time job opportunity in Westerville, OH that allows you to work on a hybrid schedule (2 days remote).

Project types: Healthcare, Distribution centers, Warehouses, Industrial, Institutional, Retail, and International.

Design and develop mechanical systems for commercial, and industrial projects within Revit or AutoCADPrepare detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Conduct site visits to assess existing mechanical systems and gather project requirements.Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.Perform load calculations, and HVAC system design.Ensure compliance with local, state, and national mechanical codes and standards.Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information).Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00
