Position Overview: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing mechanical drawings and 3D models for advanced defense products. Your expertise will drive the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, including heat exchangers, antennas, frames, chassis, and circuit card assemblies. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct research to inform the planning, design, and development of mechanical systems. + Create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using CREO. + Apply Design for Manufacturing principles to ensure efficient production. + Lead the design and release process for new products. + Utilize additive manufacturing techniques for prototyping and production. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative designs to life. Required Skills: + Active Secret Clearance + CREO: 2-4 years’ experience using CREO for mechanical design. + Design for Manufacturing: 2-4 years’ experience in designing products for efficient manufacturing. + 3D Models: 2-4 years’ experience in creating and manipulating 3D models. + Design & Release: 2-4 years’ experience in managing the design and release process. + Additive Manufacturing: 1 - 2 years’ experience with additive manufacturing techniques. + Prototyping: 1 - 2 years’ experience developing and testing prototypes effectively. An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role .
