Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves a diverse set of responsibilities, including supporting Solidworks design, communicating with suppliers, and documenting processes and bills of materials (BOM). The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of project scope and be able to follow projects from inception to completion.

ResponsibilitiesSupport Solidworks design for various projects.Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.Document processes and create bills of materials (BOM).Provide on-time design, development, and release of drawings and specifications for equipment.Ensure designs meet specifications and standards.Verify design calculations and check designs for accuracy and ease of serviceability.Resolve design problems as they arise.Manage other engineers and drafters, assisting them during the design layout and detailing phase.Make decisions to accomplish responsibilities within company policies and budgetary restrictions.Develop comprehensive sets of layout, assembly, and process drawings.Ability to travel up to 25% for project-based travel.Work directly under the engineering manager and with project managers.Responsible for team schedule and meeting deadlines.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer, or Structural Engineer.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (civil engineering degree will also be considered).Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Solidworks.Experience with Finite Elements Analysis (FEA).Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Experience in large industrial design or process design (preferred), structural design, oil and gas, or design for construction equipment.Understanding of core engineering concepts including thermodynamics, kinematics, structural analysis, and electricity.Comfortable working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.Strong communication skills with team members and management.Well-organized with daily tasks.Creative and able to develop new designs or improve existing ones.Capable of creating and improving standards, drawing lists, and bills of materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ductwork design, platform design, process schematics, and process calculations is a plus.Having worked for another EPC business in related industries is beneficial.Experience with large equipment is essential.Good attitude and open-mindedness to learning new things.Ability to speak several languages is a plus.Work Environment

This position is fully in-person and not open to remote work. The role supports brick and ceramics within an EPC company that handles engineering, commissioning, and sales. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $52.00/hr.
