Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a degreed Mechanical Engineer with 4-10 years of experience to support the design process. You will work with a small team of Senior Level Engineers and Project Managers to complete mechanical design projects for various facilities including laboratories, clean rooms, animal labs, hotels, healthcare facilities, offices, schools, restaurants, multi-family, and government secure facilities. This role offers both in-office and hybrid options with site visits.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of mechanical design services including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents under direct supervision.Provide mechanical engineering services associated with the bidding process, including preparing addenda and amendments, and opening and tabulating bids as directed.Perform mechanical engineering services associated with the construction phase, including field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing record drawings.Elect and layout mechanical systems, considering alternative systems.Prepare accurate, complete, and code-compliant drawings and specifications for schematic, design development, and construction document submittals.Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success.Perform QA/QC review on assigned projects.

Essential Skills/Responsibilities

Proficiency in AutoCAD.Mechanical Engineering Degree.4-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.EIT certification preferred.US Citizenship required due to client contracts.Willingness to obtain security clearance.Willingness to undergo federal drug and background checks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit is a plus.Knowledge of HVAC systems.

This role is available as in-office or hybrid (typically 2 days in the office), with occasional site visits. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
