Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for post design activities and working together with global regional team on customer escalated and supplier/manufacturing related issues.Perform necessary technical analysis and make decisions to provide appropriate solutions or alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.Evaluate new or existing designs to conform to product specifications. Perform mechanical verification tests and write test reports.Work with various cross functional team such as Quality, Supply Chain and Supplier for design evaluation in a timely manner.
Basic Requirements
Candidate must possess a recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering
Self-motivated, assertive and results driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Possess strong analytical/logic and problem solving skill
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Have basic knowledge in material properties & design guidelines of mechanical commodity such as plastic & sheet metal
Understand manufacturing operation & assembly processes
Familiar with the application of Design for Manufacturability & Assembly will be an added advantage
Familiar with Creo 3d software will be added advantage
