Job Description

Does innovation run through your veins and are you looking to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment? We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who is up to task to work on robotic systems and newly designed geotechnical equipment.

As a member of the Innovation Technology Commissioning and Implementation Group, you focus on thorough testing, design improvement, and optimizing performance and reliability.   

As our Mechanical Engineer, you work on the mechanical aspects of equipment that operates in extreme conditions, such as large water depths. The products vary from precision mechanical measuring instruments to fully independent (underwater) systems.

Your role is pivotal in shaping the future of our mechanical engineering solutions and ensuring our competitive edge in the industry. 

Your role   

You liaise with the design team to review, advice and consult on practical and safety related aspects of the design; 

You are in the lead during the execution of acceptance testing and validation;

You contribute to field pilot projects, occasional travel is involved; 

You complete technical upgrades and update technical manuals; 

You interact with the operations department on issues found in the field. You act as point of contact for the mechanical side of the products and take part in the innovation 3rd line support; 

You contribute to a collaborative and professional atmosphere in our team.    

Your track record

You have a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics;

You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as designer or constructor; 

You are skilled in 3D CAD systems, Preferably Creo (Pro-Engineer); 

You have a self-driven attitude;   

Fluent command of the English language;   

You have a practical mindset with an appetite for learning new skills.
