The Mechanical Engineer is a key member of Stryten Energy’s Essential Power Chargers product engineering team. The Engineer will be accountable for the mechanical engineering design, verification, and validation for new product developments, and will maintain the designs for existing products. The Engineer will perform critical engineering tasks including design, analysis, prototype testing & validation, and final design release of complex mechanical solutions based on market and project requirements. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional product development environment are essential.
Responsibilities Manages and controls the configuration of technical dataImplements technical data management within Solidworks PDMSuggests, plans, performs all analytic work associated with mechanical engineering including static and dynamic stress analysis, tolerance stack-up analysis, FMEA, etc.Supports the tools and applications used by the Mechanical Engineering teamCreates 3D models and 2D drawings of parts and assembliesValidates designs through testing and trials Liaises with other departments and suppliers as requiredMaintains engineering standards and processesAdditional responsibilities as needed to support the team and company goals.
