Mechanical Engineer (Design/Analysis)
**Job Description** We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team, working closely with hardware integrated into a variety of complex countermeasure and electromagnetic attack solutions and products including compact electronic warfare systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering with expertise in design and analysis, as well as a desire to learn and grow. This individual will be responsible for supporting the design and analysis of mechanical systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing their skills and knowledge to prepare for future leadership roles. **Key Responsibilities:** **Design and Analysis Support:** + Assist senior mechanical engineers on design and analysis projects, including mechanical components, mechanisms, and systems. + Apply analytical techniques, such as finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, and thermal and structural analysis, to optimize system performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other disciplines, such as electrical, software, and manufacturing. **Technical Development:** + Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering. + Develop and maintain expertise in specific areas, such as mechanical design, analysis, and testing. + Share knowledge and expertise with team members and other stakeholders. **Learning and Growth:** + Participate in training, mentorship, and coaching programs to develop skills and knowledge. + Seek out opportunities for career advancement, including leadership development programs and professional certifications. + Contribute to the development of the engineering team's strategic plan and goals. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** **Education and Experience** + **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + **Experience:** 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Experience with state-of-the-art mechanical engineering development software tools (ANSYS Workbench/Mechanical, PTC Creo, MATLAB, etc) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
