The Mechanical Engineer I will be responsible for developing productivity improvement ideas aimed at enhancing products and processes within the Smart Energy and Thermal Solutions business. This entry-level position requires a combination of hands-on engineering skills, innovative thinking, and teamwork to support the development and optimization of advanced metering technology solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the evaluation of existing product designs and manufacturing methods to identify opportunities for productivity improvements. Conduct feasibility studies for proposed modifications and new designs, focusing on enhancing efficiency and performance. Collaborate with senior engineers to create and modify mechanical designs using appropriate CAD software. Support the development and testing of prototypes, ensuring that all designs meet performance and quality standards. Work closely with engineering teams, manufacturing, and quality assurance to implement improvements and resolve technical issues. Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to brainstorming sessions aimed at enhancing productivity. Prepare detailed documentation of design processes, test results, and other engineering activities to ensure compliance with company standards.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Essential knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with CAD software and simulations is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate with team members. Advanced English skills
