If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer on our Fatigue Aging Management Team based in Cranberry Township, PA.

 

This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.  No relocation will be provided for this position.  We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity

Your Day-to-Day:

Perform a variety of engineering tasks in support of fatigue aging management in nuclear power plants

Structural evaluation of ASME Section III components including stress and fatigue.

Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS preferred

Software programming including Visual Studio

 

Minimum Requirements       

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

1-3 years of professional experience

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering 

Experience with ASME Section III and Section XI criteria preferred

Experience with FEA and ANSYS/ABAQUS preferred.

Strong communication skills

Ability to learn quickly and display a strong attention to detail
