Role Overview

Facilitate and coordinate technical work products for mechanical engineering Communicate and resolve issues among the engineering team to ensure safety and regulatory compliance Evaluate and provide feedback on work performed by contractors and sub-contractors Identify and assess deviations to technical specifications and regulatory requirements Steward queries and information requests related to mechanical engineering Keep the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of progress, deviations, and concerns Participate in engineering reviews at contractor and subcontractor locations Promote capital efficiency in engineering design Support internal engineering initiatives as requested by supervisor

Skills & Qualifications

Professional Engineer in Alberta Advanced knowledge of mechanical design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs Fluent in English for technical and business communications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Certifications in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
