As a Mechanical Engineer III you will join our dynamic team in designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and assemblies for cutting-edge medical integration systems. This role is essential in driving innovation, ensuring quality, and supporting the development and manufacturing process of our products.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Product Management, and stakeholders to create conceptual designs. Design and develop durable solutions for mechanical components and assemblies. Perform analytical assessments (e.g., FEA, temperature, tolerance) to optimize designs. Create mechanical test fixtures, tooling, and procedures to ensure production consistency. Research and develop new materials and mechanical technologies for future product lines. Provide technical leadership to mechanical designers and drafters. Participate in design reviews, identifying potential challenges and solutions. Support prototype builds, validation testing, and field issue analysis for existing products. Maintain documentation, including BOMs, design assurance checks, and SAP Material Masters.
What You Bring:
Required:
Experience: 5–6 years in mechanical engineering. Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fields. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 7–10+ years in mechanical engineering. Education: Master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Skills: Advanced knowledge of FMEA tools, machining operations, metal finishes, and SolidWorks.Who we are:
